About Us

VHB is based at two sites in West Sussex and we have approximately 230 full time employees. We began producing fresh herbs in 1989 and today we are the UK's largest producer / suppliers of fresh herbs to the UK retail market. Our two nurseries produce over 14 million fresh potted herbs per year and our packhouse supplies over 23 million packs of fresh cut herbs per year, sourced from our own production and selected other British and overseas growers.

We have been producing Salad Cress at our West End Nursery for over 40 years and today we supply over 12 million punnets of salad cress per year.

We also grow 4 acres of speciality tomatoes at our Runcton Nursery near Chichester in West Sussex.
